Chapter 6

I had so many Questions’ for Dinero, but I was just happy to have my brother back. He explained to me how Silk had hired Smurf the short chubby dude to take me out months ago. Smurf was too soft to take the hit by himself, so he offered Dinero haft the money. When he saw it was me he knew who I was, and the tattoo on my neck confirmed it. He was just gone pay Silk off and take me back to Flint with him. When he heard Silk say he had killed our father he knew he had to end him.

My brother had made quite a name for himself in Flint, but still didn’t have the name that our family rightly deserved. With Silk out the way I set my plan in motion to make that possible. My brother and I took Silk connect and started our own thing. The money was nice but we were paying 75,000 dollars a kilo. I was sure that the plug jacked up the price, because we were young nigga’s. By the time everybody got they cut we were making 5 grand a peace. We were doing a better job working for Silk. Something had to give. I was getting older and not at all in life where I was supposed to be. My first step was taking a few college classes. An educated thug is a rich thug. Dinero handled the streets, five years give or take and I was back in the game.

My next step was my crew I needed niggas I could trust. Niggas I knew had my best interest at heart. So I looked up my nigga Damon. He had just did a five year bid and was hungry. My next call was to old faithful. Mr. Page. Ali had just graduated from University of Michigan. With my big brother and my best friend by my side I was untouchable. All I was missing was one thing. A down ass bitch! Janet had proved herself more than one occasion. I was sure that I didn’t really love her, because whenever we were together my mind was a million miles away. But she was loyal and that’s all that mattered.

I thought about how I would ask her for weeks. I even bought the fuckin ring I just could never ask the question. So I focused on what I knew best the money. We had to figure out how to get the coke in Detroit and keep my crews hands clean. A million and one ideas ran through my head. First were dead bodies. So my brother and I bought a funeral home. That spot was cool, but transports for dead bodies weren’t like on TV. Nobody was shipping bodies from Cuba or Africa to Detroit so I needed a new idea. Death in Detroit was a profitable business so with the money the funeral home we were able to flip it. I thought about other business, but Ali spoke against it.
